About the Alpine Sculpture & Gathering Garden

A community-created garden where Alpine’s stories are cast in bronze—and families gather across generations

The Alpine Sculpture & Gathering Garden is being developed in Alpine’s Historic Square as an entirely unique community asset—designed for gathering, reflection, and storytelling through bronze.

This project was initiated by the Heritage Arts Foundation, with crucial guidance from the Alpine City Council, a formal committee of Alpine residents, EBW Design Landscaping, and Main Street Art (Alpine).

Our “end-game” is simple and deeply Alpine: a place where families honor those who came before, cherish connection today, and bless those yet to come—built through engagement that invites and appreciates, always with respect and dignity.

  • Located in Alpine’s Historic Square
  • Features bronze by Dennis Smith (Alpine)
  • Built through community partnership and private donations

The intent is to honor

This isn’t simply landscaping and pathways. Alpine is creating a living legacy—made stronger because multiple generations participate in building it. That shared ownership increases appreciation, preservation, and visitation for years to come.
